Albert Lee's Virtuoso Techniques offers Complete note for note transcriptions of the solos, jams and exercises on the Albert Lee DVD of the same name. Albert covers a variety of topics, such as Country intros and endings, double-stop concepts, bends and banjo-style rolls and patterns, and numerous examples detailing them. In addition, he and his band play some of his showcase tunes, including T-Bird to Vegas and the classic Country Boy.
Albert also demonstrates the B-string bender, using it on tunes such as Sweet Little Lisa, and his original Lonely Guy, and pulls out his baritone guitar on a blues jam. His Melodic side is featured on a sensitive rendition of Tennessee Waltz showing a textbook example of double-stop improvising. This book is rare and no longer available.
