Manfred Mann`s Earth Band played the sold-out Admiralspalast Berlin on Sunday night to an enthusiastic crowd. It was the band's last gig in 2023 but they promised to be back next year for lots of new shows all over the continent.
Great to see Robert Hart again whom I had seen earlier sitting in with FRONTM3N while Peter Howarth was touring with the Hollies. Also great to see John Lingwood on drums whom I had seen with Roger Chapman & The Shortlist (last time in 2013 who also featured our dear Nick Payn - a long time ago). A special mention goes to Mick Rogers for his excellent guitar work but in fact they were all brilliant. Some of the old songs were newly arranged and sounded a bit different but still easy to recognize. "Mighty Quinn" (Quinn the Eskimo) closed the show, everybody jumped to their feet singing along and having a great time.

A perfect way to brighten up a dark and wet November day.
