My brief review:
It's been a long time, but the Rhythm Kings are back on their Euro Tour 2005 "Let the good times roll". Only 6 gigs in Germany in 2005 - but we saw them all ! I was lucky to stand almost front row and met a lot of old and new friends at this place close to the Dutch border, i.e. fellow Stones fans Jan & Adele from Holland, Wupperstone, Sabine and many others.
"Bright lights, big city" by Andy Fairweather Low was something to remember. To my surprise, he did "Paradise" later which I never heard again on this tour. Thanks to Albert for doing "Real Wild Child" which is one of my all-time favourites. Beverley's nightblue outfit was an eye-catcher, and her performance was superb.
After the show, Bill was kept busy signing autographs - people just wouldn't let him go. I managed to take some (poor) snapshots by mobile as my camera decided to pack up.
Great to say HELLO to some of the band members after the show and have a few words.
The next day saw Bill at the Rock & Pop Museum Gronau where he donated a Vox-Teardrop Signature Bass, unfortunately I missed the event being late due to poor signposting.
