My first time at The Brook. Ange (our late friend and music buddy) once said I might like The Brook and in fact I did. The upstairs section with the balcony enabled a good view, there were also some small tables and chairs for those who prefer to sit down which creates an intimate atmosphere.
I run the risk to repeat what has been said a hundred times before, so just one sentence:
The band were superb, an excellent gig and so much fun! Highlights were Geraint's JOHNNY B GOODE, also his excellent contribution to the lovely song "Louisiana 1927" and Terry, Bev and Albert's beautiful version of "Crying in the rain" - you could hear a pin drop during this song.
Next day was a day off which I spent close to Northampton and then off to Liverpool to see a special gig at the Echo Arena.
