Jeff Golub has lost his battle with a rare brain disease (PSP) and passed away this morning, on January 1, 2015. He was 59.
Jeff worked as a sideman with lots of artists, starting with Billy Squier, and was best known for his work with Rod Stewart. Jeff recorded 11 solo albums and 3 CD's as the leader of the instrumental band "Avenue Blue".
A tribute concert featuring many of the artists with whom Golub
collaborated will take place Jan. 21 at B.B. King's Blues Club in
Manhattan.
