Fantastic Saturday night - Rod Stewart was as fit as a fiddle and delivered a brilliant performance to an enthusiastic audience. What an atmosphere! Almost 2.5 hrs of good music in front of a spectacular stage set-up; huge screens enabled a great view even from the back rows.
His dedication to the people of the Ukraine & Selenskyj went down a storm, us Berliners mostly agreed with him and gave a big hand, very touching pictures on the screen behind him.
And I mustn't forget to mention that Sir Rod paid tribute to some fellow musicians who sadly are no longer with us - e.g. Jeff Beck and Christine McVie.

My personal favourite of the night was the bluesy Muddy Waters cover 'Rollin' and Tumblin'.
