"Rock around the Clock" im Estrel Showtheater Berlin

Gestern abend gab es wieder "Rock around the Clock" (Das Fifties Special) im Estrel Berlin Eine grandiose Show mit den besten Hits der Fünfziger von Bill Haley, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis u.a. Besonders gefreut hat mich, dass auch die Everly Brothers, Eddie Cochran sowie Chuck Berry nicht vergessen wurden. Nach einem zunächst ruhigen Publikum hielt es nach 2-3 Songs niemanden mehr auf den Sitzen, die Leute sangen und tanzten in den Gängen - sogar ein älteres Paar legte eine flotte Sohle aufs Parkett und rockte wie in alten Zeiten, alle Achtung! Und Rachel Hiew war eine echte Augenweide in ihren farbenfrohen Outfits. Ich hatte die Show vor Jahren schon einmal in etwas anderer Besetzung gesehen und kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen, Spaß und gute Laune garantiert.

Brilliant show “Rock Around The Clock” - The Fifties Special last night at the Estrel Berlin. Elvis and friends performed the best songs from the Fifties. Pleased to see that the setlist included also songs of Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran (Summertime Blues) and the The Everly Brothers (All I have to do is dream). People had a fantastic time singing, rocking and dancing in the aisles. Special mention goes to Rachel Hiew who was a real eye catcher in her brightly coloured outfits
