Assembled by former bassist Bill Wyman from his personal archive Rolling with the Stones is the lavishly illustrated story of rock legends The Rolling Stones. Stone Alone - Bill Wyman with Ray Coleman
The Story of a Rock'n Roll Band. I bought one of the first American copies whilst on holiday in Florida, 1990/91. After having read the book, I wrote Bill some comments and was surprised to get a nice response ! Of course I kept his letter to the day, another item in my collection.
.... and 16 years later ....
... I got my copy of Bill's book signed in November 2006, backstage after the Rhythm Kings' Cheltenham show ! Needless to say that we had a great time meeting interesting people there.

WYMAN SHOOTS CHAGALL
(Genesis Publications), limited edition
In 1971 all the members of the Stones moved to the South of France, where they recorded the classic album Exile on Main Street. Bill ended up staying for a dozen years. He bought a plot of land, built a house and then found himself near the great artist Marc Chagall. Chagall was in his late eighties, but he and Bill quickly established a warm friendship over afternoon tea. Beautifully bound in blue quarter leather, with images of Chagall and photographs by Wyman silk-screened onto canvas boards. It is accompanied by a special CD, including solo material never commercially released.
