NYC mit Toni.
Our stay was in Manhattan close to the Empire State Building; the MSG was just around the corner.
Ground Zero, a baseball match at Shea Stadium (where the Beatles once played), boat trip to Liberty Island/Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island including a brief theatre performance. Of course Times Square, Wall Street, a dinner in Little Italy, Chinatown, United Nations, a tour by "hop on / hop off" bus and much more ..... we made the most of it.
Toni und ich waren ein paar Tage in New York und haben uns die Füße plattgelaufen (genau wie Bette Midler und Lily Tomlin in dem Film 2x2, das konnte ich danach sehr gut nachvollziehen ;-) Eigentlich wollten wir in den MSG zum Stones-Konzert, jedoch war ticketmässig absolut nichts mehr zu machen. Wir kamen nur bis zum Merchandise-Stand, haben dann aber noch das Beste aus dem Trip gemacht (mit viel Shopping) - schön war's trotzdem.
