Driving up from South Shields (after the great gig at the Custom House including Tommy Emmanuel and the guitar clinics) towards Edinburgh, which was not too far. The Edinburgh Jam House is just a few blocks away from the famous Edinburg Playhouse where Albert played in his early days as he told the audience. 'I am a man of constant sorrow' was in the setlist with Albert playing the mandolin. Pete Wingfield was still with the band. My seat was some rows back and it was difficult to take photos. The sound, however, was fantastic - as was the gig, needless to say. Also, the friendly staff deserves a mention. Unfortunately the weather left to be desired and sightseeing was impossible due to heavy rain next day.
