My brief review:
Down to the South again and meeting up with Jilly. Everything was great as usual at this club, I liked even the support who did Jump Jive & Wail and some Chuck Berry stuff.
First time at Chiddingfold Club featuring Elio on piano. We were lucky to stand front row. Rumour had it that Eric Clapton was around. He wasn't - but Gary Brooker was, who joined the boys for 2 great songs, a nice surprise and very much appreciated by the crowd. I was lucky to take some photos while Gary played the piano, don't remember the title of the first song, but the second one was "Rave on". A nice bonus for us.
Later, Albert did the wonderful ballad DIMMING OF THE DAY from his latest solo album, followed by a fantastic version of COUNTRY BOY. Finally, Wayne joined on keyboards for the encore and they all tore the place up !
