Kris Kristofferson at Admiralspalast Berlin
Kris Kristofferson played the Admiralspalast in Berlin, supported by a band from Duesseldorf 'Rocket to Stardom' who claim to be the only Kristofferson Tribute band around. They were so good that Kris joined them for a song during the opening act, and also invited them later to do the encores with him. It was a magic evening with Kris, the man & his guitar plus harmonica - and all those wonderful songs which are mentioned in the newspaper articles below, the reviews hit the mark and there is nothing to add from my part.
'Rocket to Stardom' used to cover Kristofferson songs but Rock'n Roll style. They told us that Kris once heard them and invited them to open for him on his German tour. I had some words with them later, they were really proud as Kris also will be producing their new album ... so watch out for them.
