"ELVIS Das Musical" im Estrel Berlin - 24 July 2014

Vorschau vom Estrel: "Nach der ausverkauften Deutschland-Tournee im Februar 2014 gastiert "Elvis – Das Musical" vom 16. Juli bis 17. August wieder im Estrel. Das zweistündige Musical ist eine Zeitreise durch Elvis‘ Leben, dessen Karriere mit Gospel und Blues begann und ihren Höhepunkt im Rock‘n‘Roll fand. Verkörpert wird der King vom derzeit überzeugendsten
Elvis-Darsteller Grahame Patrick, der laut Weggefährten des echten Elvis "der beste Elvis seit Elvis" ist. Als Show-Highlight konnte das "The Stamps Quartet" mit Bandleader Ed Enoch verpflichtet werden, die originale Gospelband von Elvis Presley!"

My brief review: The Estrel Berlin is always offering first class entertainment. Elvis The Musical is definitely one of the highlights. Unfortunately, photos were not allowed, not even without flash, so just a few quick shots possible. Please click on the Elvis photo above to get to the album.  The show was brilliant, we met nice people and had a lot of fun. Later Grahame Patrick came out for a meet and greet, signed autographs and posed for photos. A wonderful guy, so down to earth and what a fantastic voice! I can only recommend to see the show if you have the chance, you will not be disappointed - for Elvis fans it's of course a MUST. Elvis/The Musical goes on tour again in 2015 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Denmark.

"Elvis Memories" hat einen Konzertbericht veröffentlicht mit tollen Fotos von Michael Herder. Der Bericht bezieht sich zwar auf das Konzert am 01.08.14, die Aussagen treffen es jedoch auf den Punkt und gelten auch für unseren Konzertbesuch am 24.07.2014.
