An overdue blues fix on Friday night: The Norman Beaker Blues Trio played the Hafenbar Tegel located in a nice neighbourhood in the North of Berlin. Glad to see that Norman has meanwhile built up a considerable following, it was nice to spot familiar faces in the crowd - many of them became regulars. First time I saw Slavica Tucakov on bass who went down well and added a different note to the set. Apart from Norman's excellent guitar work, a special mention goes to Slavica for her great bass solo, also a shout-out to Chris for his powerful drum solo.
People danced away and had a great time. After the last song, the crowd cried out for more, and the band were only too happy to play two encores to great applause.
Thank you Norman, Slavica and Chris, have a great time on the rest of the tour. Hope to see you again soon.
