My brief comments - 13 March 2005
Albert Lee & Hogan's Heroes played at Duisburg - the venue was a strange dark hole somewhere in Meiderich. The audience were as strange as the venue, the absolute downers were some drinking people who obviously had no idea about the band and kept talking loud into the music.
Albert wore his cool "Biff Baby's All Stars" T-Shirt. Pete Wingfield was still with the band. Due to
the lighting, just some poor photos
by mobile were possible. What I also remember is that all of a sudden the
lights broke down completely and the boys had to play in the dark for a while ! Also, [the late] Steve Hamelink was there and joined the band for "Evangelina". The place was incredibly hot so lots of liquids required. The boys signed in the foyer for their fans, and I was only too happy to finally get out of this strange place.Set List (maybe not always in the right order)
