Aldershot was the first gig of the bands' remaining 4 gigs in 2010, and I decided to see them all. I have mixed memories about this place as I got lost several times on my way to the venue which isn't easy to find ...
It was nice to meet up with Sue and some people I had met on other gigs. Also nice to see Jane Craxton, we enjoyed the show but as it was so busy we could only find seats some rows back. I had to zoom to the limit to get some decent photos. Sold out as usual, great gig, and Peter made some jokes in his announcements which are always a good laugh. Albert used a different guitar this time, another Ernie Ball signature model in blue colour. The stage is very small, Gerry and Gavin both sat at the far ends almost hidden behind huge speakers. As it was such a cold night, their 'instrumental' THE WORLD IS WAITING FOR THE SUNRISE got some extra applause!
The band did their usual set without any changes and signed patiently for their fans after the show despite of the draughty foyer where they had to sit. After treating myself with some hot coffee I made my way back through the cold night - this time without getting lost ...
