Das Knoblauchhaus in der Poststraße 23 Nikolaiviertel wurde 1759 bis 1761 von Johann Christian Knoblauch gebaut und ist das einzige originale Bürgerhaus im alten Stadtkern Berlins. Original rekonstruierte Wohnräume im ersten Stock sind den Mitgliedern der Familie Knoblauch gewidmet und können eintrittsfrei besichtigt werden. Im Untergeschoss gibt es darüber hinaus noch eine historische Weinstube.
The Knoblauch House in the Nikolai district is one of the most beautiful townhouses in the heart of the old Berlin. The three-storey baroque building was built in 1760 by Johann Christian Knoblauch and serves nowadays as a museum (free entrance) showing the restored rooms of the Knoblauch family "The world of Biedermeier".
