Albert Lee & Hogan's Heroes played the Hotel Eichhorn in Harsefeld for the 4th year. Glad to see that the place filled slowly and eventually got rather packed. Every seat was taken and people also stood at both sides and in the back. Unlike last year there was no support and after a brief introduction by the promoter Albert and the boys went straight down to business. Many newcomers in the audience as the lovely ladies sitting next to me. They had never heard of the band before but as there is little entertainment in the area, they were curious and came to see the band. Needless to say that the boys won over in no time, and everybody went home with a smile on their faces. The band were brilliant as usual and apart from Albert's warhorses Peter and Gavin deserve a special mention as their songs went down a storm. It was their last German gig in 2013 but we are all looking forward to spring 2014 welcoming them again in our neck of the woods.
