R.I.P. dear Will MacGregor (bass player with Albert Lee Band/US) - such a lovely man, will be missed. Met him for the first time at Albert Lee's 70th Birthday Celebrations at Cadogan Hall, London, 1st and 2nd March 2014 and later on several Albert Lee Gigs in and outside the UK. In October 2016 he played in my hometown Berlin with Albert and his band.
Will always remember him.
"Dear friends and family,
There will be a memorial service for Will on Sunday, February 23 2020 at 1pm at Ireland's 32 in Van Nuys. An afternoon open house and jam session will follow from 2-4pm featuring Ken O’Malley and the Twilight Lords. Additional musical guests will follow Ken O’Malley and the Twilight Lords into the late afternoon.
Dress is casual. Parking is available on site, along with plenty of street parking.
If you are able to attend, please respond to this event so we can try to get a head count for the venue. Please share this event with anyone we've missed!
