Friday night, all sold out. One of the first venues which practiced the non-smoking policy, and there was only a tiny smoking section at the far end of the foyer. A sit-down gig, my seat was in row K, but after the interval I managed to sneak to the front and stood on the left side with other fans who wanted to dance along and have a good time. When Eddie Floyd came on and Bill was doing his 'You never can tell' the crowd went mad, dancing, shouting and clapping hands. Standing ovations is not a word, that joint was rocking ! Thanks to Dave who kindly let me have the set lists and additionally Andy's hand-written Harlem Shuffle notes (see below).
