Bill Wyman is to appear at the Boogie For Stu - an intimate live performance of the new album 'Boogie 4 Stu' as a tribute to Ian Stewart at the Ambassadors Theatre on March 9, 2011, in London.The event still has a few tickets available for this special evening featuring Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, Ben Waters, Dave Green, Axel Zwingenberger and with Jools Holland. Other special guests will also feature!
'Boogie For Stu', launches Ben Waters' tribute album 'Boogie 4 Stu' in memory of the late Ian Stewart ('Stu'), co-founder of the Rolling Stones. Ian Steward died from a heart attack aged 47 on 12th December 1985 and proceeds from the album will go to the British Heart Foundation.
Boogie For Stu is presented by Sally Humphreys Productions and will feature the ABC&D of Boogie Woogie (Charlie Watts, Ben Waters, Axel Zwingenberger and Dave Green) with Jools Holland and very special guests, including Bill Wyman.
Bill also plays on a few of the tracks on the new album.

Boogie 4 Stu: The ABCD of Boogie Woogie with Jools Holland and very special guests

On Wednesday 9 March, there will be two intimate concerts at 7pm and 9.30pm to launch Boogie 4 Stu, Ben Waters's tribute album in memory of the late Ian Stewart ('Stu'), co-founder of the Rolling Stones. Ian Stewart died from a heart attack aged 47 on 12 December 1985 and proceeds from the album will go to the British Heart Foundation. The Rolling Stones, Bill Wyman, PJ Harvey and Jools Holland have all contributed to the album.
Ben Waters is one quarter of the ABC&D of Boogie Woogie (Axel Zwingenberger, Charlie Watts and Dave Green making up the other three quarters). When Ben decided to make a tribute album to Ian Stewart, Jools Holland offered his recording studio and gradually various people came on board to contribute to the album.
