The first gig took place on 29 March, the saloon was as packed as always and temperatures got high! Great to see the band again after their successful gigs in Croatia and Italy. Also nice to meet up with fellow fans Sigrid and Harald from Nuremberg, we swapped news and enjoyed ourselves.
A special pleasure to catch up with Hannah, who had organised some European Gigs for Albert and the boys last year (unforgettable: our great time in St Veit, Austria, with Hogan's Heroes, Chris Farlowe, Clem Clempson, Arthur Brown and others).
The saloon had been a smoker's club until the end of 2010 but couldn't maintain its position any longer and is now a 'non smoking area' with a small smoker's tent in the garden. Thanks to the lovely hosts Gabi & Bruno who made me feel most welcome as every year. Photos unfortunately not in best quality.
Der erste Gig vom üblichen 'Doppelpack' im Rattlesnake Saloon München. Es war schön, die Band nach ihren erfolgreichen Konzerten in Italien und Kroatien (!) wiederzusehen. Sonniges Wetter in München, dementsprechend hoch auch die Temperaturen im Saloon. Sigrid und Harald aus Nürnberg waren dort; wir hatten eine gute Zeit mit der großartigen Musik.
Besonders schön war das Wiedersehen mit Hannah, die letztes Jahr einige Konzertdaten für Albert und die Jungs organisiert hatte (unvergeßlich: unsere schöne Zeit in St Veit).
Der Rattlesnake Saloon konnte bis vor kurzem seine Position als Raucherclub halten, jetzt ist jedoch das Rauchen drinnen nicht mehr gestattet, und unsere Raucherfreunde mussten nach draußen in ein speziell für sie aufgestelltes Zelt.
Danke an Bruno und die immer emsige Gabi, die mir jedes Jahr das Gefühl geben, willkommen zu sein. In dieser familiären Atmosphäre fühlt man sich richtig wohl !
