Double Gig at Landgasthof Ochsen, Sinzheim - 21 + 22 March 2014

The boys had played at the Ochsen Sinzheim since 2006, this was their 9th year in a row (not the 8th year as mistakenly said in the introduction) at this family-run country inn where a warm welcome and a great atmosphere is always guaranteed. Next year we will be facing the band's 10th anniversary at this special venue. The band played different sets each night although some of the good old standards and of course their war-horses were kept. Jill Morris joined them as every year for her usual 2 songs. This time she chose Kris Kristofferson's  Help me make it throught the night and then  Let's have a party to get people to their feet. It was nice to catch up with good friends, also to meet new ones e.g. Roland's Shadows-mate, Mareike and Andy Eckhardt with their friends and the 'usual suspects' as Hutch Schneider and wife as well as Georg Grimm just to mention a few. We all enjoyed the shows, the good food cooked by Klaus, the landlord and 'chef de cuisine' himself, and had a fantastic time.
