I'm posting this on behalf of FB friend Martial Bekkers who is running the only official Everly fan club world wide. He asked me to share wherever possible. Everybody is welcome to share and help to spread the word.

The Everly Brothers (Don and Phil) were true music pioneers in the rock & roll era. Besides selling a lot of records starting with bye bye love, they've influenced a whole bunch of great artists like the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, the Beach Boys, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and Bob Dylan to name a few. Dylan once said: 'we owe these guys everything, they started it all'.Their music is still being covered by many up to today.
Everly Brothers International (EBI) will be 50 years old next year. EBI is the only official international fan organization for the Everly Brothers of course. A milestone to celebrate.
And we decided to celebrate it with a big Party for many fans to get together. There will be a lot of Everly related music but also a lot of good old fashioned rock & roll music.
EBI has its headquarters in The Netherlands so that is where our 50th Anniversary Party will take place. At Party Center Het Dak (The Roof) in Leerdam near Utrecht to be precise.
A nice venue combined with good music from several bands, dancing, good food from a gorgeous buffet, drinks and fun.
The Party must be the biggest and the best and the most special we at EBI have ever thrown. And for the extra special part our normal budget won't do.
That is where you come in!
We hope for you to back us to cover at least 2,000 Euros to put the icing on the cake and make this a get-together to remember.
A large part of all possible proceeds of our Anniversary action will be donated to the Phil Everly Memorial Fund of the COPD Foundation.
Phil Everly, the younger brother, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 in Burbank, Calif. at the age of 74 due to complications from COPD.
