My first visit to Horst which is close to Venlo. Unfortunately my review got stuck somewhere in cyberspace (between MSN and Multiply ... ).
It was an afternoon gig and the first one of the band's Euro tour. All I remember was the warm welcome by Jan Druif who runs the place and who even had a word for me in his welcoming speech. We should meet again later at the Heineken Arena in Amsterdam when Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings would play on the same bill with Chuck Berry. It was also nice to meet up with Christa and husband living in the Duisburg area whom I had only
known over myspace. Both of us enjoyed the great music
and had a lot of fun. Also met some nice fellow fans and we enjoyed
taking some funny photos. Only a few gig photos possible in poor
quality, hope to get them uploaded before too long. Here's to the next
gig in Dortmund !
