To cut a long story short, the 2 gigs at smoky Rattlesnake
Saloon in the outskirts of Munich were simply outstanding. I must admit the saloon still sticks to smoking policy which isn't so much my cup of tea and at 11pm at the latest my eyes were burning from all the smoke around. The support group Acoustic Revolution is worth a mention,  same band as last year, not easy to open for such a great band like Albert Lee & Hogan's Heroes but they did a good job. This band supported Albert Lee and the boys already on earlier gigs  and they are definitely worth a listen. Good voices, humour and lovely songs. My favourite in their set was Sweet home Alabama.

The 2nd gig on Friday went even better, Albert played like hell and Elio hammered on the piano like mad. Big thanks to Gaby and Bruno from the saloon for their kindness, they treated me like an old family member, and despite the smoke, I certainly will be back next year. Not many photos, and all of poor quality ...
